Getting Started
Getting started with FormMaker
Welcome to FormMaker! This guide walks you through everything from creating your account to sharing your very first published form. The whole process takes just a few minutes — no credit card and no code required.
1. Create your account
Head to the sign-up page and create a free account using your email or your Google account. The Free plan gives you unlimited forms and unlimited submissions forever, so you can explore everything without a paywall. As soon as you confirm your email, your personal workspace is ready and you'll land on the dashboard.
2. Create your first form
From the dashboard, click “+ New form”. You can start from a blank canvas or pick one of our ready-made templates. The editor opens with a title block at the top — give your form a clear, descriptive name so respondents know what it's about.
To add a question, click below the title and start typing, or press / to open the slash menu. From there you can insert any of the 17 block types — short answer, multiple choice, email, file upload, rating and more. Drag blocks by their handle to reorder them, and use Cmd/Ctrl + Z to undo any change.
3. Configure your form
Open the settings panel to control how your form behaves: mark questions as required, add a thank-you screen, enable a progress bar, or set a custom redirect after submission. Every change autosaves, so you never lose your work.
4. Publish your form
When you're happy with it, click Publish. Your form gets a public link instantly. On paid plans you can also serve it from your own custom domain for a fully branded experience.
5. Share and collect responses
Share your form link anywhere — email, social media, or a QR code — or embed it on your website as an inline widget, popup or full-page embed with a single snippet of code. Submissions appear in real time on your dashboard, where you can browse, filter and export them to CSV.
